photo (65)This year, in an effort to budget and organize healthier meals for my second grader, I purchased two of these bad boys (I got them at Walmart and had two coupons, each for $2 off so they only came to just over $10 for both). They’re made by Rubbermaid and they provide individual compartments for different foods. To help myself keep on task with meal planning (a huge part of my life), I devised a template for both the sandwich and salad Rubbermaid Lunch Blox kits*. Hopefully, I’ll learn a lot more about how Jude eats and what he likes because of this new system. It’s all new to us and we’re anxious to see if this will work out for the better. Below, you’ll find the planned lunches he’ll be eating (and/or has eaten). Hopefully, you’ll find some cool ideas for your kids, too…especially if they’re vegetarians like us.
